Acquia is pleased to announce the availability of Version 2.0 of the Drupal Gardens iPhone app, making it even more convenient for users on the go to manage content on their Drupal websites from the comfort of their iOS devices.
New capabilities released with Version 2.0 include:
Enhance photos before you post
When embedding a photo in post, tap to give your photos a touch of awesome before the app uploads them to your site. Sharpen focus, add filter effects, crop, change the orientation or brightness, remove red-eye and blemishes, and more! Experience the benefits of a professional photo editor at your fingertips.
Save posts as Drafts
Need to pause your authoring but not yet ready to publish? Save your post as a draft and get back to it when you’re ready, or have someone else pick up from where you left off.
Unpublish or edit previously published posts
Make the content on your site perfect! Unpublish previously published content by saving it as a draft for later editing, or edit and update an existing published post.
Post as another author
Stepping in to post on behalf of another author? If you have the right permissions on the Drupal site you can now do so through the new Gardens iPhone app.
Enrich your posts with web links
It’s a connected world - add hyperlinks to your posts to keep them succinct and to the point.
iOS 7 support
The Drupal Gardens iPhone app is compatible with iOS 4.1.1 and higher.
Ready to try the app? Head over to the iTunes App Store for the free app download.
