# Connect AI agents

Connect AI agents to your site over the [MCP server](/start-here/glossary/#mcp-server) so they can read your content model and work with Canvas. The server is experimental and off by default: you enable it per site, each agent then works inside the scopes you grant on tokens that expire in five minutes, and you can revoke its access at any time ([govern agent access](/source-cms/ai-agents/guide/#govern-the-agents-access)).
